Tiddy

Yes, JAWS sleep mode is indeed enabled when using K1K. I've been reduced to
bodging about unloading and reloading JAWS when I need to but it's a pain in
the proverbial! (smile)

Thanks

Ann

Hi Ann, I assume you have told Jaws to kill speech while you're in
K1000. If not, you can do it in the config manager somehow. The
simpler bodge is simply to unload Jaws before you start Kurzweil. As
long as you have short cuts on the desk top for each program you should
be able to start either of them without speech. I'll go into more
detail if necessary.
