Don't think its anything you have done if you have the email from freedom
then just go to the link and download it from there that is what I did in
the end and it works a dream love it the new v of jaws that is

Hi.
I tried doing the update but was told the patch could not be installed. I
was advised to try a repair which I did.
I have been using JAWS 10 experimentally and the only things I have done are
to install skype scripts and make JAWS go to sleep when the NetPlexTalk
program for playing RNIB book stream club books is loaded. Rather than
doing the repair maybe I should have uninstalled the skype scripts to see if
this was the problem. either way things worked fine after a full jaws
repair.
