Hi Mandy,

you could check that your kitten didn't make any Jaws personalized settings for
the google mail page:
1. login to google mail.
2. press insert + shift + v
3. Personalize settings dialog for that web page opens.
4. The first item in the tree view is Personalized settings. With this
selected, press spacebar to clear all the settings.
5. tab to the close button and press it.

David.

original message:

Hi, I have posted this problem to the Access U.K list but no one has a
solution for me, so maybe someone can help me here. I have a couple of
Google mail accounts and this has gone wrong on all of them. The other day
while I was reading some mail in one of the accounts, my kitten walked all
over my keyboard and goodness knows what he's done but now the screen
freezes. I go in after entering my user name and [password and the screen
is just frozen, I cannot move either the jaws cursor or the virtual cursor.
The only way I can get round the problem is pressing control Z and it says
application mode off, forms off and then I can move round the screen. It
only happens in the Google mail pram and I can only think something was
pressed that shouldn't have been. When I enter after putting in my user
name and password, I hear a click as if there is a link clicking but can't
find out where it is or how to stop it, I'm a bit desperate now as I really
don't know what's happened. Has anybody got any ideas as to what do?

Mandy
