If you go to C:\ProgramData\Freedom Scientific\JAWS\2018\Scripts you can paste
them there and they should work.  Or the long way with windows seven is go
start menu then all programmes then jaws version then explore jaws, then
explore my scripts.

Hi Peter.  Thanks very much for confirming that.  As I already have an old
version of GoldWave installed and the settings set, I think I'll stick with
that edition.  My only problem is that Jaws 18 doesn't seem to have the
settings/enu section that I usually paste the scripts into.  If I'm looking at
the right place (Program Files/Freedom Scientific), I've tried pasting the
scripts into the main Jaws folder and the computer's told me that I need
administrator access, even though I'm the only user on this laptop and I don't
remember setting any passwords (I don't have to use one to log into the
computer).  The version of the scripts that I possess doesn't have a
self-installation file, so I'd be grateful for advice on how to paste these in
the right place.

Many thanks in advance.

Take care, Danny

Hi Danny,

GoldWave seems to work well with any version of JAWS, the scripts
haven't changed for quite some time but they seem to work just fine
with the latest

version, I think you can still find the scripts at
http://www.jaws-users.com

Hope this helps,

Pete H.

Hi.  Can anyone please advise me as to the best version of GoldWave to
use in conjunction with Jaws 18 and Windows 7?  Also, I'd be grateful
for any links or other info regarding the Jaws scripts that work best
with the suggested version.

Many thanks in advance.
