How you doing Kev

Limewire is a peer to peer file sharing application. It enables people on the net to share files. Songs etc. I think it's OK, but a tad inaccessible. Bit Torrent and Isohunt are a lot better, and you get a full album instead of just one song when you search for tracks.

Hope this helps.

Hi adrian,

I'm using IE 7. How do you enable or disable tabs please? Sorry to ask what is probably a obvious question.

Thanks,
Kevin

What Browser are you using Kevin?
In ie7 when I hit submit it opens and switches jaws focus to a new tab with more information and instructions. Slightly confusing is that the first 3 or 4 elements on the new tab are graphics with the same alt tag. when down arrowing you at first wonder if you are on a page that contains just one graphic which you are re reading over and over.

If you are using a different browser, or have disabled ie7 from opening new tabs that might account for your issues or at least our different experiences.

Dear all,

I'm unable to use the "donate" page on the website of the British Red
Cross.
While I'm able to specify the amount which I wish to contribute, on
clicking
on the "donate" button I receive an error message.

I've drawn the above issue to the attention of the Webmaster, they have
run
tests using Jaws but can find nothing wrong with the site. This is odd as
I've tried the site, over two days on two separate computers, each time
using Jaws. Could some others on the list take a look at the site (see
below) and provide feedback to the Red Cross. Maybe its me who is in error
but if so I can't understand how and why!

I'm attaching the correspondence with the Red Cross as background.

Many thanks

Kevin

Hi again Finn,

Sorry I meant to provide you with the error message which pops up after
I've
clicked on the donate button (see below).

The website cannot display the page
      HTTP 500
        Most likely causes:
a.. The website is under maintenance.
b.. The website has a programming error.

        What you can try:
          Refresh the page.

Go back to the previous page.

          More information

           Regards,

           Kevin

Dear Finn,

Thank you for looking into this issue so speedily.

I am running Internet Explorer

Version: 7.0.5730.11

and Jaws (version 9), the latest release.

I also have Zone Alarm, Spybot Search and Destroy plus Anti-Vira running
although I wouldn't have thought that these should have an effect.

There is a Jaws Users List and I'll run this issue past them to see what
response I get. I'll keep you posted.

Regards,

Dear Kevin

Further to our email conversation, we have runs some tests on the
donation
page using Jaws and Internet Explorer and it seems to be working
correctly.
Would you be able to let us know the version numbers of Jaws and
Internet
Explorer you are using please?

Thank you for your help.

Best wishes
