If using older versions of Windows such as XP, you can also use Ctrl+JAWS with a number from 1-0 on the numbers row, while positioned on a file in Explorer, to speak the information in columns 1-10. Exactly which keystroke you'll need will depend on the order of the columns, but for me, size would be Ctrl+JAWS+2. Things have changed in Windows 7, and possibly Vista too. I'm still finding my feet with Windows 7, but it seems you can use left and right arrow while positioned on a file to move from column to column, something which isn't possible in earlier versions of Windows. Hope this helps. John ----- Original Message ----- From: Angela To: jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, November 19, 2010 5:53 AM Subject: [jaws-uk] Finding out file size. Hi. Could someone please remind me how I can check file sizes; I remember it involves using the jaws key, enter, and alt somewhere, but can’t remember in which order!
