If you don't want to hear expanded and collapsed, then in OE go to the view
menu.
Go to the current view submenu and enter on group messages by conversation
to uncheck it.
Group messages by conversation lets you collapse a thread with the left
arrow, and delete a thread with one press of the delete key When a group is
collapsed, you press the right arrow on the first message in the thread,
then you can arrow down through all the mesages in that thread.

Can anyone help Last Friday I had a visit from my local Association for
the Blind. First in years so I had lined up things of importance.my
Desktop had been returned given a clean start after the Nightmare Drive
failure. I couldn't plug all in and a sighted friend made a mistake
plugging in as I have an Independent Graphics. The Hp Laser Driver had to
be downloaded and he the friend did that wrongly. Anyway that got sorted
out. Now we turn to my Toshiba laptop. They were not able to get that to
print out via the Wireless connection, I know it can do that, maybe again
it is the drivers. However this is what troubles me. Obviously now I have
updated Jaws to V.7 I wanted that putting on Toshiba and JFW4.5.1 removed.
Now the IT Manager and his assistant were not sure how to do that, so they
phone another party a Jaws user. He tells them to add Jaws V7, then remove
J.4.5.1 I observe this and hear Wizards being mentioned. All seems Ok. They
depart telling me to "put through paces and see how things are" I find the
following. On the Desktop which Andrew did all Ok and no one gets in white
on White. However from Toshiba laptop they do get in White on White although
on list get in Ok. Phil Medway checks for me. However in my Lists in Outlook
Express Version XP being used Jaws V7 Home. I cursor down in Sent list in In
box in Subfolders lists in any subfolder I hear the word Expanded. it
doesn't say this to All Emails only some. So what is being Expanded and why?
Nothing like this is being saidon Desktop only Toshiba laptop Hope have
explained this Ok.Am using at the moment in front of Wireless plugged into
electricity but going via the Wireless part of the Router.Desktop from the
Wired in . Router is Edimax. Dorothyup.
