Hi George,

Read that myself, but, couldn't find the button. Had to delete the row in
the end, but, wondered if I was missing something anyone else had found.

Thanks,

Tom

Split merged cells

You can split only cells that were previously merged.

1. Select the merged cell.

When you select a merged cell, the Merge and Center button Button
image
<http://office.microsoft.com/global/images/default.aspx?AssetID=ZA0604500610
33> also appears selected <javascript:AppendPopup(this,'OfSelected_4_4')>
(selected: A toolbar button always has a border around it when it's
selected, even when the pointer is not resting on the button.) on the
Formatting toolbar.

2. To unmerge cells, click Merge and Center Button image

Note When the merged cell is split, the contents of the merged cell will
appear in the upper-left cell of the range of split cells.

Have accidentally merged a couple of cells, want to unmerge?

Can't find the button on the format menu. Jaws 11, win xp, excel 2003.
