After you entered on a picture in the control shift 0 list and moved to it,
did you try pressing shift right arrow? Jaws always says selected to me
when I do that.
Then I just press the delete key.

Ah! Good Point.

The situation was that I was reviewing the document and adding comments.
I couldn't extract the unformatted text version without losing the very
useful commenting functionality which allows you to hop between the
comments pane and the text. In the end what I did was to zip the file,
and then use the Winzip split function to break the zipped file into two
chunks. However, I haven't had confirmation from the recipient that
this approach was satisfactory, so I'm still open for suggestions.

The idea of using the JAWS ctrl-shif-o function suggested by Debbie
unfortunately didn't work, as although you get a list of the relevant
pictures, you don't seem to be able to delete them from this dialogue
box. If you click on one of the entries in the list of objects, you
arrive at the page with th epicture on it, but there still doesn't seem
to be a way of selecting the object for deletion.

Regards and thanks to all for suggestions.

Hi

You didn't state whether you wanted to keep the text formatting. If not
why not simply save the document as a plain text document.
