Shirley,

First you need to select the file or files you want to move. If it's one
file, then just move to it in the folder. If it's multiple files in
consecutive order, hold down the Shift key and use the arrow keys to
highlight all the files you want to deal with. If it's multiple files in non
consecutive order, hold down the Control key, use the arrow keys to find the
next file you want and use the spacebar to add it to the lot you want to
deal with.

Control x will cut the files from their original folder. You'll then
need to move to the new folder and use Control v to paste them to their new
location. Until you're certain of carrying out this operation though, I'd
recommend using Control c on the selected files, rather than Control x. This
will copy the files, rather than cut them. You'll still need to use Control
v to place them in the new folder though.

Regards,
Léonie

Subject: [jaws-uk] Creating a folder in my documents.

Hello all,

Could someone please refresh my memory on how to transfer files into a
folder.

I wish to put all my invoices in one folder.

The Invoice folder is already created, I have instructions to do control X
and then control V.

Nothing happens.

Help Please.

Shirley.
