Hi,If you go to the search box and type in "free" you get several options one of which is a link to information on the free anti-virus software. Within that link is a further link to a separate site from which you can download Avast free version. It took me about 18 minutes to download but appears to be working well.

Went on to the site. Found unlabelled button to take me to the registration page. Filled in page 1. Page 2 contained only buttons to allow you to pay for it. I thought there was a free option.
