Hi Ami

Not sure what's going on with your pdf. The only suggestion I can offer is
to change the way that Acrobat interprets the file for JAWS. You can do this
by changing the reading order when the PDF is first opened. The usual choice
is to use the implied reading order but you can change this by arrowing down
when you are asked try left to right, top to bottom.

It doesn't always work but it can make a difference.

Steve

Subject: [jaws-uk] Announcing clickable

Hi list
Just wondering, firstly what does it mean when JAWS says clickable, when
you're not on a link?  And, more importantly, how can I stop it from
announcing this, and will I lose anything if I do stop it?

I'm reading a PDF laid out with, according to JAWS, only one word on each
line, and every word announced separately as clickable.  It makes it
infuriating to read the text.  Can anyone advise me on this?

Thanks if so

Amie
