I'll try that. I use different settings for different cursors, but there's
no particular reason for punctuation on the message voice. In fact, I've
just done it. I'd left it set for 'all'. It's now 'none' and the problem
has gone away.

That only happens on my system when punctuation is set to "All".
I've got punctuation set to "Most", and the time is announced correctly.

One annoyance which has come with the latest update is that Jaws generally
reads the time, e.g. one one: two three. Is there any way of curing this
problem which seems to arise in all programmes other than Notepad?
