I have found a temporary solution to this problem .
if you hold down the windows key and then press either [ or ], they then
function normally.
I am using a laptop and as I say a temprorary solution.

I regret to inform you that there is a serious problem with the latest bill
of J-Tools 3.1.1. Specifically the new bill renders the left and right bracket
keys unusuable. This is very problematic not only because you cannot use these
keys when writing in English, but more importantly the left bracket key is used
in combination with boals to wwrite the Spanish accents when the latin American
keyboard is selected. . When I press any of these keys I get a click sound
similar to what I hear when I press insert-space bar to enter to the research
mode of Jaws, followed by a message which indicates that tthis feature is only
available in the virtual mode.
I hope you take note of this serious problem and fix it as soon as possible.
