You want to select USB microphone in the dropdown of "input" device on the
first screen of the new user wizard. Then at the first screen of the Audio
Setup Wizard select the AK 5370 as the input source, as this is the Andrea
converter you are using-ed.

Subject: [j-say list] questian about choosing mic.
I just received my package from NGT, and have installed everything.
I also purchased a VXI headset from them.
the headset looks like a normal standard headset, except it came with a
rectangular box with a USb connecter on one end, and the other end, is where
you plug the headset.
hear is my mane questian.
when you start dragon naturallySpeaking version 9, there is a combow box to
choose what cind of mic.
do I choose the USB, or not?
