Can anyone tell me whether there is an utility for RISC OS which will convert files which are supposedly JPEGs into ones which can be read as such? I have recently received a few emails which originated on a PC containing the content quoted as e.g. Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Followed by embedded files which start: Content-Type: image/jpeg Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64 Content-ID: <part1.02030409.05020109@xxxxxxxxxxxx> /9j/4AAQSkZJRgABAgEASABIAAD/7RYOUGhvdG9zaG9wIDMuMAA4QklNA+0KUmVzb2x1dGlv bgAAAAAQAEgAAAABAAIASAAAAAEAAjhCSU0EDRhGWCBHbG9iYWwgTGlnaHRpbmcgQW5nbGUA AAAABAAAAB44QklNBBkSRlggR2xvYmFsIEFsdGl0dWRlAAAAAAQAAAAeOEJJTQPzC1ByaW50 IEZsYWdzAAAACQAAAAAAAAAAAQA4QklNBAoOQ29weXJpZ2h0IEZsYWcAAAAAAQAAOEJJTScQ instead of the customary e.g. ÿØÿà[00][00]JFIF[00][01][02][00][00]d[00]d[00][00]ÿì[00][11] which both systems recognise and read as JPEGs. Thanks for any advice, John -- ____ /__ __________________________ /____Mail from mail@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx . . . using RISC OS 5.16 on an XScale powered Iyonix computer. --- To alter your preferences or leave the group, visit //www.freelists.org/list/iyonix-support Other info via //www.freelists.org/webpage/iyonix-support
