The A5000 predates MDFs and would drive the AKF18 in Mode 31 (800 x 
600 x 16 colours.  You should get 16M colours on it from the Iyonix.  
So it will work as a stopgap but if you are like me you will miss the 
loss of both desktop area and space on your desk.
