Hello, All!
This is a reminder about the Special Issue of the Journal of
Multidisciplinary Research (JMR, http:// <http://www.jmrpublication.org/>
www.jmrpublication.org) on Genealogy and Family History. This SI is
scheduled to be published in late April 2016 with 5-6 articles. Please send
Statements of Interest until October 31 to the undersigned.
JMR is an academic, peer-reviewed journal which promotes - as stated in its
description - "original, insightful, interesting, important, and
theoretically solid research". Therefore, this SI will include
academically-established papers reporting on research (either empirical,
theoretical or a review) about genealogy/family history and
genealogists/family historians, as seen from various disciplines and using
various methodologies.
Submissions should adhere to JMR guidelines (see the Journal website, under
"Submissions").
If you are interested in contributing to this SI, please be advised by the
timeline below. Also, If you'd like to help in reviewing submitted
manuscripts, please let me know.
The suggested timeline is as following:
** Statement of Interest (including a short description of the intended
submission) - October 31, 2015*
* Invitation to submit a full paper - November 10, 2015
* Manuscript submission - January 10, 2016
* Author notification - March 10, 2016
* Final submissions - April 1, 2016
* SI Publication - Late April 2016
