Hi Roland,

Definitely not the site preventing caching. Is the ISA's cache enabled?

Subject: regarding isa server

Hi! Shawn. This is roland. Thank u for you reply to my query on isa
server. I have installed isa in cache only mode in my work place But the
cache does not seem to work. I have seen this work beautifully in
another company. I can tell you that it works becaue I have done the
following tests.

1. First I download this file from the norton's website. It's the
norton definition file. 20040628-007-i32.exe
<http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/download/us-files/2004062
8-007-i32.exe> (it keeps changing ever day)

2. I then delete it

3. The I go to another workstation and re-download it and it gets it
from the server cache.

Now when I do that same at my workplace it does not get it from the
cache but instead starts downloading it from the website. The cache
size is around 1GB. Is it because of the cache size???
I have tried so many forums but none seems to be facing this problem
that I have. Can u help me out???

You had asked me to send you the url of the file.
