firstly i dont believe you when you say you have read all available
documents..

however:

im trying to grasp your problem, you just installed ISA Server 2004, and
now you cant send or receive "Internet" emails through your mailserver.
So start at the start, have you made sure that the outlook client can
contact the exchange server, can you send internal mail, ie a mail to
someone in the company/building/like the guy two desks down who has the
hots for the chick i want/. If that works fine, then have you gone
through the process of publishing your smtp and pop server through your
ISA server. You can read the help or google to find how to do this, can
i suggest following the help. its what is was designed for. so then you
should be able to receive incoming mail, use a hotmail account to send
yourself an email and see if it turns up. try sending one back to that
hotmail address and assuming your exchange box can see the internet you
should get mail. If not you could well have an exchange based problem
which i wont tell you how to fix here and now. try that first, then
we'll talk :)
