create SMTP filter with both direction on port 25.
create protocol rule for SMTP, POP and SMTPS.
create server publishing rule for Exchange RPC Server , IMAP4 , POP3 and SMTP for your externel and internal ip adderess (traffic).
this is all and enough.
thanks.

Dear All

Do any one know what is best configuration on the ISA server so you can
allow exchange SMTP for in/out Bound connection

My setup is like this

the ISA + the exchange is installed on one server
2 NIC card

am now abele to send a receive massages throw the ISA server

I didn't use secure mail server publishing because it will Disable the RPC
exchange connecter
instead I have enable the SMPT Filtration and I have add to application
filtration
SMTP IN on port 25 as inbound
SMTPout on Port 25 as outbound
POP3in on port 110 as inbound
POP3out on port 110 as outbound
