RE: dial-up connection in ISA server

Could your ISP be blocking port 25? Some ISPs do not want people to be
running mail servers on their connections because of spam, so they block
port 25 outgoing. I would consult your ISP to make sure they are not
blocking any ports and that you indeed can run a mail server on your
end.

Otherwise will have to figure away to get SMTP to connect your ISP's
SMTP server to send your email through.

What SMTP server are you trying to reach; ISP, yours, etc?
Many ISPs (not enough, IMHO) block outbound SMTP from their accounts.

Sir,

need your help regarding dial-up connection in isa server...whne sending
out email using this connection, error always occur, error is "protocol:
SMTP, Port 25, SSL No socket error. I can receive email and surf the
Internet.

when using my DSL connection, no problem exist...anyone has an idea...
