With ISA 2004 you should do the following:

Make you're your internal NIC on ISA is setup with a internal network
static IP.

Ie:

IP: 192.168.1.10
SUB: 255.255.255.0
GW: {empty}
DNS: {AD DNS IP} (example: 192.168.1.1)
WINS: {add it if you installed it}

NIC properties should look like:

Clients for Microsoft Networks; check on
File and Printer Sharing; check on
TCP/IP; check on

External NIC should carry the IP of your firewall's IP:

Ie.

IP: 10.10.1.10
SUB: 255.255.255.0
GW: 10.10.1.1
DNS: {AD DNS IP} (example: 192.168.1.1)
WINS: {do not add}

NIC properties should look like:

Clients for Microsoft Networks; check off
File and Printer Sharing; check off
TCP/IP; check on

To get your workstations to pass through ISA 2004 providing you have
setup the rules correctly, and are in the correct order all you have to
do is set your client machines Gateway to the ISA box. So in the above
examples 192.168.1.10 is your ISA's internal IP address, you have to
assign that IP to your clients Gateway.

hi,
i have an ISA(2004) server that has two network cards.
one internal thas is connected to the intranet and the
second one attached to a firewall computer that
through it, will be connected to the internet.
i configure the internal network card with no default
gateways and the external one with a default gateway.
the problem is that:
1- i can't reach the isa server from any pc on the
intranet.
2-if i stop services in isa computer i can reach
internet, but if i run the services ican't reach
internet from the isa server computer.
please if you can provide with a solution
thank you for your cooperation.
