I'm looking at this as an interested third party, as I haven't had to
setup any VPNs for SBS networks (yet). I will be soon though. The
problems I have read about seem to be that when using 2 routers to
terminate the VPN that they only have one way or no communication
between the networks. When using ISA as one terminating end, it's
getting ISA and router at the other end to keep the tunnel alive. I've
read everything from the tunnel drops every 15 minutes, to they can't
connect it at all, which is probably the fault of the router (like he
sonicwall thread from a few minutes ago on this forum).

Hi Amy,

What are the most significant issues that aren't explained? It is the
configuration of the IPSec tunnel mode connections itself, or something
else?

Thanks!
