You'd have to reinstall ISA, not the whole system. You'd just upgrade the
win2k box to a domain if it's in a workgroup. Enterprise requires Active
Directory and schema modifications.

Rebuilding the system may just make it cleaner, though.... Sorta like
putting on clean underwear when you go on a first date, it just may be a
good idea.....

Subject: [isalist] When upgrading a NT domain to 2003 AD domain, does the
ISA server need to rebuilt.

Hi,

With in the next 90 days I will be upgrading my NT domain to 2003 AD domain.
At present I have an ISA 2000 SP2 stand-a-lone server. When I do the
upgrade, does anything have to happen to the ISA server? Someone about a
year ago said I would have to rebuild the server, but I'm not really sure he
knows what he was talking about off other things he was saying.

I understand I will need to rebuild the server if I want to put it in
enterprise mood. That I could do at a later date.

Thanks.

Dan
