From the Windows 2003 launch, the guy from Microsoft were promoting it
and have mention that they will be able to simply point to a production
server and copy all the server's configuration to a virtual server
saving time. I'm not sure if VMware 4 can do that but again this is
Microsoft's paper technology at this stage and it will not be available
from Microsoft until the end of December.

Hi David,

I haven't worked with the Connectix product for a long time. I think I
tried the first version of their product and ran it head to head against
Vmware, and it definitely felt like kludgeware compared to the Vmware
product of the time. However, they might have improved it significantly
since that time. On the other hand, the Vmware product has improved a
lot too! ;-)

Thanks!
Tom

I've run multiple VMWare sessions on the same machine in different
test
environments without issue.
