Mine hovers about 568meg. (out of 1.4gig physical mem on the box).  W3proxy
seems to usually consume about 40% of physical memory.  You can force-tweak
this if you must, but 152M sounds pretty reasonable, depanding on how much
RAM you have installed.

My W3Proxy is eating 152MB RAM and no downloads or usage or going on. Same
immediately after reboot
