Have to ask, why do you have a user on an External subnet, on the same
subnet as the external interface of ISA, logging on to the Internal LAN via
"Log in via Dial Up networking"?

Why wouldn't you just have that computer on the LAN?

Sitting on the same switch as the external IP, in the same subnet as the
external IP. Do not know about the policies download -- how can I check for
that?

What kind of connection is he on?

He is having to download policies?

Any domain software publishing or advertising policy?

Should it take 34 minutes for VPN clients to access a W2K domain behind ISA?

Followed : Q179442 (How to Configure a Firewall for Domains and Trusts) -
still 34 minutes.
The client selects "Logon on using dial-up connection".
TIA
