I am struggling with this issue as we speak, I have the articles from brainbuzz and they are very helpful. I generated a cert and installed it and it didn't work, I even got a trial cert from Verisign and it didn't work. This is the error I am getting: 500 Internal Server Error - The certificate chain was issued by an untrusted authority. (-2146893019) Internet Security and Acceleration Server The ISA server and the web server are not in the same domain, could that cause this problem? I really need to get SSL working with my web server and isa server. Anyone have any ideas? All of the documents I've found so far have only address publishing it using a Web publishing rule.
