Sun Java Plugin and ISA

Has anyone been able to get the Sun Java Plugin to work through ISA when
authentication is required? If so, what is your configuration?
My ISA has basic and integrated authentication enabled. The requests from
the plugin are getting to the proxy (I see them in the proxy log) but the
plugin won't respond with authentication. My gut feeling is that it doesn't
like the 12209 response code that ISA is giving it and would rather see a
407. Anyone know any ways around that?
