One more thing. If you've already got the Routing and Remote Access
configured your next step is to open ISA Management, right click on
Network Configuration and select Allow VPN Client Connections.

SBS SP1 will contain the necessary configuration updates to allow
ISA2004. It's best to wait for the service pack. Besides at that point
you'll get ISA2004 for only the cost of shipping.

The ISA Management console is there for you. Look at Start, Programs,
Microsoft ISA Server.

Not knowing what you've tried with your VPN or what type of VPN you are
attempting to configure, I'll have to start by suggesting that you right
click on Routing and Remote Access and select Configure Routing and
Remote Access. This should step you through the process of connecting a
remote PC.

Hello,

I have a couple of ISA questions as they relate to SBS 2003.

1. SBS 2003 currently uses ISA 2000 correct? Can this be updated to
2004 or
is this something that will happen during a service pack for SBS 2003?

2. I would like to enable (and I thought I had) a vpn connection to SBS
2003.
However it does not respond.

3. There does not seem to be direct access to ISA's configuration on SBS
2003. I would like to take a look at the config. Is this possible. I
understand that due to the SBS 2003's setup that I should tread lightly
or
not at all but I would still like to take a look.

Thanks

Bill
