I'm working with the QFE team to try to sort this out. If anyone can get a packet trace while this happens (I know, that's the hard part), that'll help immensely. Upon examining the e-mails it was blocking I found it was choking on data in the message as though it were an SMTP command. I too turned the filter off. The strange thing was that a lot of e-mail was getting through; just certain messages were being rejected. No problems with it, and I just run it to prevent buffer overflows and such. I don't use the Message Screener because Mail Essentials is so much better :-) Since installing SP1, I'm getting really strange SMTP event messages that contain pieces of email messages. For example: ISA Server name: EXETERT2 Y AND And then, ISA Server name: EXETERT2 N ABOUT And then, ISA Server name: EXETERT2 OVERRUN And then, ISA Server name: EXETERT2 WEBLOGIC SERVER And on and on and one... Now I've got to turn off the damned SMTP Application filter until this gets fixed :-) HTH, Tom www.isaserver.org/shinder ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: peter@xxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub') ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: ddellanno@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub') ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: jim@xxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub')
