Have you try to set 2 filter 1 with " xxx" and the other with "xxx "...
"without the quote" :-)

Heres my situation. I want my ISA to do the SMTP content filtering for
exchange server. When I put in something like XXX it gets filtered. Which
is great but one of my users got an email that contained a string of X's
that was about 6 or 7 charecters long and that too got filtered and sent
to my Inbox. Is there a way to have it only filter 3 X's in a row or is
this something I have to live with. Any input would be great. Thanks
