Careful with that one... I have an ISA Setup on a cable modem... 200 pentium
pro, 256 MB ram... and I have CRASHED ISA repeatedly when trying to download
from an ISP at a rate of 8000 (almost LAN speed) while 5 other users were
trying to surf the web.

What kind of bandwidth is your's on?

Russ

On one of the sites that I look after, they've been running ISA on an
        Compaq Armada 7792 (233mhz) with 128mb Ram for 2 years servicing 100
        users, no complaints, ever.

Reading the requirements on MS's site are a joke:
        "
          a.. A computer with a 300 MHz or higher Pentium II-compatible
processor that is running one of the following operating systems:
a.. Microsoft Windows 2000 Server with Service Pack 1 or later
b.. Windows 2000 Advanced Server with Service Pack 1 or later
            c.. Windows 2000 Datacenter Server
          Note

a.. It is always recommended to use the latest Service Pack.
          b.. 256 MB of RAM
          c.. 20 MB of available hard-disk space
d.. A Windows 2000-compatible network adapter for communicating with
        the internal network
e.. One local hard disk partition formatted with the NTFS file system
" What is a real life requirement to run this product?

Using Proxy, I assume the HD needs to be 100 times that size, no?
