Well....I have it working now... I had to stop the windows Update service and manually copy all the required files..eg wuauclt.exe etc...once I did that, the ISA Server appeared in the gui and also downloaded the updates for what is needed to run the WUS client ,that is BITS and the new msi installer. Not best practice I know, but I can't see how these items are downloaded and installed automatically. Nothing in the logs. Wouldn't be wmi??
