Ok, So I have created a registry entry under hklm\software\Microsoft\FPC\reports with two DWORD entries: DirectoryStatus set as 0 Status set as 0 Now when I run repgen it doesnt report and error - it just hangs! Never does anything - never finishes. So adding the registry entry has certainly changed thing but I am not sure whether it is for the better;) Why isnt there any logging for this program (repgen). There seems to be zero documentation from M$ and no way to run it in 'debug' mode so you can see what it is trying to do. Unfortunately I cant find any dowucmwntion of what the registry acutally does to know what values should be set in the DWORDs Any other suggestions? -----Original Message----- From: Steve Moffat [mailto:steve@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, 31 July 2002 11:07 AM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] RE: Repgen problem (again) http://www.ISAserver.org Start in hklm\software\Microsoft\FPC Steve Steve Moffat 7 Boss's Cove Road Pembroke HM01 Bermuda Tel: 441 292 8240 Fax: 441 292 0455 steve@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.optimum.mine.nu Get me on msn messenger - steve_moffat66@xxxxxxxxxxx There was once a young man who, in his youth, professed his desire to become a great writer. When asked to define great, he said, "I want to write stuff that the whole world will read, stuff that people will react to on a truly emotional level, stuff that will make them scream, cry, howl in pain and anger!" He now works for a major software house writing error messages. ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: al.blake@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub') --- Incoming mail is certified Virus Free.
