Yup, XP home can map network drives, open Terminal Services but can't be
member of a domain. For that, you need XP pro.

YOu cana dd network places or map network drives and set it to save the
password, though. But not much more than that.

I have a client that has roving laptop users who need to get access to
the
local AD domain on win2k server. Can anyone tell me how to set up xp home
edition to logon the local domain?? Is it true that xp home cannot have
a
computer account in the AD domain?

Thanks Jim
