But I didn't test router-to-router VPN connections over any other medium, considering that I don't have any other branch offices that have an ISA server. All the folks who connect just their laptops via Dial-up, DSL's work OK. When I was troubleshooting this thing, I could do anything on the branch office server (terminal services, open shares...). Routers were connected to each other. I could open VNC on the branch office's workstations. Remote desktop in XP workstation dropped all the time, I had trouble only if I had to route packets through the interface that connected from my HQ to my Branch Office.
