well, i wanted a positive feedback before posting a suggestion ;) Joel, here's what you can do: ping a host on the internet with the following syntax: ping www.google.com -f -l 1500 1500 is the size of the packet you're firing against google (not actually 1500, but what the heck) if you don't receive any answers from there, try decreasing this number to something like 1480, 1460, until you can find a number that will provide you a constant reply from the site you're trying to reach. ok, once you got the number, go to this site: www.dslreports.com/drtcp and download the lastest version of the software that's called Dr. TCP (it's my favorite because i don't like messing with regedit). Open it, select the network adapter that's hooked up do your DSL, router or whatever, and change the MTU field to the number you got on the ping tests. save, disable and re-enable the network adapter and give us a feedback ;) Tiago -----Mensagem original----- De: Thomas W Shinder [mailto:tshinder@xxxxxxxxxxx] Enviada: ter 10/12/2004 13:09 Para: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Cc: Assunto: [isalist] RE: Dropped Packets http://www.ISAserver.org Hi Tiago, Hmm.
