I've got GFI (10.0) running on a separate box from Exchange and I've got
the public folders in Exchange. I think that they are created either
during the setup, or if you run the Rules wizard on your Exchange server
to setup the spam rules for the users inbox's

There is an option in the GFI program on the server to rescan the public
folders, I believe the gfi public folder tree is only created when mail
essentials is running on the same machine as exchange. Jim

I do remember that now, but the version ive got now, 10.1 doesn't seem
to have that anymore as far as I can tell.

You can setup a public folder, so when users drag a message onto it the
recipient is whitelisted.

Note that this only works on GFI MailEssentials 10!

Does anyone know whether GFI has an outlook add on to help you tag spam
and "whitelisted" senders and other things from outlook, rather than
having to re configure it from the server. That would be a cool feature.

Thanks

Greg
