RDP port 3389 across net - Internal and internal with thin-clients.

I have thin-clients TC on an internal network accessing terminal server
via NLB across ISA 2004 to the Internal network. These users
occasionally receive no keyboard action -- the TC locks/hangs up.
However, if I take the ISA server out of the mix, the TC behaves.
Anyone know why ISA would hang the TC connection?
