Hi Rob

Not certain but I suspect you need to set in IE, the option to bypass the proxy server for local addresses on the LAN connections entry on the conections tab off the internet options menu.

I think that will resolve the issue.

Subject: [isalist] Quirky Proxy Question

http://www.ISAserver.org

Hello everyone--

OK, I enabled proxy (through AD) for everyone on the network, after
having no problems with a limited group. Now, however, a quirky problem
has surfaced, that's only an issue with proxy enabled on the client.

We have a split DNS (internal is afsc.local and external is afsc.org).
We have a number of internal web servers that respond to xxx.afsc.org.
This was working fine until I put clients into proxy mode. Now, using
IE, those sites are no longer found. If I take the client out of proxy
mode, the sites load up no prob.

What's the fix?

Thanks!

Rob
