Han, can you tell me a bit about your config? At 10,000 users, I'm really
curious as to what kind of SQL install you've got, how big your logs are,
and how long you are retaining data... I'm almost at 1 gig per day in web
proxy logs alone, and that's for only 80 users in that location... I'd be
interested in what is required for something that big...

I assume you're talking about the failure to uninstall MSDE? This is what the Application log tells me:
Product: Microsoft ISA Server 2004 -- Setup failed while verifying that the advanced logging (MSDE) component can be uninstalled.
Product: Microsoft ISA Server 2004 -- Configuration failed.
I noticed there's a dependancy between the Microsoft Firewall service and de MSSQL$MSFW service.
What about my other question: disabling add-ins?

No - this is not normal. What additional event log entries do you find?

Hi list,
I'm doing a project with the enterprise version. Have to build a forward proxy array and a reverse proxy array for 10000 users. The forward array consists of domain memebers and the reverse of workgroup members. The customer wants logs to go to a SQL 2000 cluster. I first installed all arrays with advanced logging. My thought was that once I configured SQL logging I could uninstall the MSDE. That does work but only on the domain members. The wokgroup members won't allow me to uninstall the advanced logging feature. The procedure I followed was through Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs -> Change/Remove ISA -> deselect the advanced logging feature. When I do this I get an 'installation failed' error. Is this a known problem? Second question: why am I unable to disable web add-ins either on the enterprise level nor on the array level?
Regards, Han Valk.
