Hello,

After disabling the filter I am still seeing attempted connections to
this
address. Any ideas?

Thanks

Bill

Hello,

Thanks for the info. Of course it brings up another question. Where is
the
Documentation on this particular Multicast address? According to IANA
this
address is in a reserved range.

From: http://www.iana.org/assignments/multicast-addresses

234.000.000.000-238.255.255.255 Reserved [IANA]

Thanks

Subject: [isalist] Question About Multicast Address

Hello,

My ISA server attempting connections to 235.80.63.83 port 0 from its
external interface. This is a multicast address. I have been trying to
track down to process that is initiating this connection. Does anyone
have an idea of what might be attempting this connection? It's being
blocked by my default enterprise rule.

Thanks

Bill
