Opening ports problem

I'm running w2K service pack4 and ISA 2000 SP1.
The problem is that some programs works fine from the server which host
the isa but they don't from the clients computers.
As an example, from the server i am able to run imesh but Not from the
clients computers.
I run a sniffer to check the ports and they open properly from the server
but they don't from the clients......What should i check?....any idea?.
The people work as WEB proxy clients.
The protocols are well define and applied.
