The certificate must be for www.xyz.com, but you will configure the FE OWA server to only require SSL for the www.xyz.com/exchange virtual directory. If you are publishing OWA to one server but ../ to another then configure two different listeners- one for HTTP, one for HTTPS pointing to the different internal boxes. If the same, make sure you set permissions appropriately.

Hi,
I have OWA(Exchange 2003+sp2) and company website in the same
machine(Exchange FE) connected to perimeter network of ISA 2004.

default website:www.xyz.com
virtual directory under default website:/exchange,/exadmin,/exchweb......

i want to implement SSL for www.xyz.com/exchange but not for www.xyz.com

Pls help ASAP.

do i have to enter in the common name of certificate "xyz.com" or
"xyz.com/exchange"
