OT: SSL VPNs

Hey guys,
I've been doing a deep dives into this crock called "SSL VPNs" (this
doesn't include the Open VPN solution).
From what I can tell, these things are the biggest rip-off since
pets.com went IPO. Does anyone really consider these *security*
solutions?
