Hi Steve,

I have already tested in a lab the use of the firewall client on a Citrix
Metaframe XP, which is an addon for the W2K terminal services. It worked as
expected with user/group authentication. I think it should work also on a
plain W2K terminal server without problem. If I remember well, no special
install procedure was needed. Just, place the server in install mode.

Note however that if you use W2K terminal services or Citrix Metaframe XP,
the ISA will see all request coming from the IP's of the terminal servers.
So, in a production environment
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q316356 could become
an issue.

HTH,
Stefaan

Subject: [isalist] No Terminal Server Firewall Client ?

I have tried to install the Firewall Client on a newly-created Win2K
Terminal Server, and the setup always fails. My install procedure was
install Win2K, install SP2, install FWC and fail.
Since the failure, I have gone on to install IE6, Metaframe XP, and the
client software people need. Now how can I get the firewall client on
there?
Thanks.
