Hi Alfonso, I've seen this error too on Web Proxy clients that are configured with the URL for the autoconfiguration script. If you configure the Web Proxy client to autodetect and not manually input the autoconfiguration script, then you'll be able to connect. I made a half hearted attempt to determine why this works by doing some packet sniffing, but nothing stood out. It works great inside the LAN and from any remote computer that connects to ISA thru VPN. However, when connecting from the LAN in a remote office (which connects to this office via a permanent ISA-to-ISA VPN connection), users get the following message: SOCKS 5 Proxy Authentication failed. Chack the SOCK 5 setting for user name and password on the connection tab. Everything else works great in the ISA-to-ISA VPN (clients can access files & computers in the other office's LAN) What should I be looking at?
