Logging to Oracle

OK, I read through:

However, I did not do the translation gateway. My service starts, and
everything seems happy, but alas no data. I have verified connectivity. I
know when something is wrong the service will not start. So I know the
database connectivity is there. I just do not see any data. Know help me,
I'm somewhat database ignorant, so I do not know if you have to have the
gateway there or not.
Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
